Articulo 1 – La Trinidad
Es el testimonio de ambos Testamentos y de la Iglesia Cristiana que Dios es ambos Uno y Trino. La revelación Bíblica testifica que hay un solo Dios, y que El existe eternamente en Tres Personas: Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo. A. Dios El Padre
Dios el Padre es el Creador y sustentador de todas las cosas, y creo el universo en amor para que le adorara. El creo al hombre a Su imagen para tener compañerismo con el, y ha llamado al hombre a regresar a El por medio de Cristo después de la rebelión y caída del hombre.
B. El Hijo
Jesucristo es eternamente Dios. El estaba junto con el Padre y con el Espíritu Santo desde el principio y a través de El todas las cosas fueron hechas. Para traer redención al hombre, El dejo el cielo y se encarno por el Espíritu Santo en Maria; y desde entonces es un Cristo con dos naturalezas: Dios y Hombre, en una Persona.
C. El Espíritu Santo
El Espíritu Santo es Dios, el Señor y dador de vida, que era activo en el Antiguo Testamento, y fue dado a la Iglesia en plenitud durante la fiesta de Pentecostés. El da poder a los santos para servir y testificar, limpia al hombre de su antigua naturaleza, y nos conforma a la imagen de Cristo. El bautismo con el Espíritu Santo (Hechos 1:5, 1 Corintios 12:13), que viene automáticamente después de la conversión, activa la llenura del Espíritu y da evidencia por medio de los dones y del Fruto del Espíritu Santo.
Articulo 2 – La Escritura
Afirmamos que la Biblia conteniendo el Antiguo y Nuevo Testamento es la única, infalible e inspirada Palabra de Dios, y que su autoridad es mayor, final y eterna. No se le puede agregar, restar o contrarrestar en ninguna manera. La Biblia es la fuente de toda doctrina, instrucción, corrección, y reprensión. La muerte de Cristo en la cruz pago la deuda del pecado de todo el mundo, pero sus beneficios son solo para aquellos que reciben a Jesús como su Salvador personal. Sanidad-física, emocional y espiritual-fue provista en el sacrificio, al igual que la provisión de Dios para todos sus santos, pero la persona debe hacerlas propias.
Artículo 4 – Salvación
La Palabra de Dios declara claramente que la salvación es un regalo de Dios, basado en los meritos de la muerte de Su Hijo, y es obtenida por fe. La Salvación es afectada por el arrepentimiento personal, la fe en el Señor Jesucristo (Justificación-Romanos 5:1), y el aceptar personalmente a Jesús como Señor y Salvador (regeneración). La nueva vida en Cristo incluye los privilegios de adopción y herencia en el Reino de Dios. El aceptar la Salvación es un acto de voluntad propia en respuesta al amor de Dios por la humanidad. Es predestinada en el sentido que Dios conoce en Su omnisciencia a aquellos que le aceptaran. Es segura en la promesa inmutable y eternal de un Dios que no miente y es por siempre el mismo. La Salvación debe producir un estilo de vida activo en obediencia y servicio a Jesucristo nuestro Salvador.
Articulo 5 – La Vida Cristiana
Creemos que las Escrituras nos muestran la vida de un Cristiano en este mundo es un balance entre la gracia dada en la conversión y las obras hechas al crecer en fe y madurez. Así que, las provisión de Dios es para Sus hijos es total, y sus promesas son eternas. Las faltas cometidas por Sus hijos y por la Iglesia son a causa de nuestro estado de santificación progresiva. La vida cristiana esta llena de pruebas, aflicciones, y guerra en contra del enemigo espiritual. Para aquellos que confíen en Cristo hasta la muerte o hasta Su Segunda Venida, las promesas de bendiciones eternas en la Presencia de Dios son seguras. Para mantenernos firmes en todas las circunstancias, es necesario depender del Espíritu Santo y estar dispuestos a morir a nuestros deseos y pasiones personales.
Articulo 6 – La Iglesia
A. La meta de la Iglesia es hacer discípulos de todas las naciones y presentar a los santos perfeccionados en Cristo.
B. Las políticas de la Iglesia están basadas Bíblicamente y son aceptadas por la congregación, y la congregación es independiente de toda otra organización.
C. Es esencial para la vida de la Iglesia que los patrones de disciplina descritos en las Escrituras sean practicados y que la disciplina sea administrada e impartida eficazmente en la Iglesia por el liderazgo de la misma.
Artículo 7 – Bautismo y Cena del Señor
La Palabra de Dios dicta a la Iglesia dos ordenanzas perpetuas del Señor Jesús. La primera, el bautismo, es un símbolo exterior de lo que Dios ha hecho ya en la vida del creyente y es un testimonio a todos que este pertenece a Cristo. Es una identificación con Jesús y se efectúa en el nombre del Padre, del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo y por inmersión. La Cena del Señor es una conmemoración del la muerte del Señor y se en memoria de El hasta su Segunda Venida; es un símbolo de nuestra participación con El. El pan y el vino (no fermentado) son Símbolos de Su Carne y Su Sangre respectivamente. Ambas instituciones son solamente para los creyentes, y la Cena es solo para los que son bautizados.
Articulo 8 – Escatología (El Estudio de Las Cosas Futuras)
Afirmamos la Segunda Venida corpórea del Señor Cristo Jesús, la resurrección física de los santos, el milenio y el juicio final. El juicio final determinara el estado eterno de los santos y de los inconversos, determinado por su relación con Cristo Jesús. Creemos lo que la Biblia enseña acerca de un cielo nuevo y una tierra nueva.

Article 1 - The Trinity
It is the testimony of both Testaments and of the Christian Church that God is both One and Triune. The Biblical revelation testifies that there is only one God, and that He is eternally existent in Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
A. God the Father
God the Father is the Creator and sustainer of all things, and created the universe in love to worship Him. He created man in His own image for fellowship, and called man back to Himself through Christ after the rebellion and fall of man.
B. The Son
Jesus Christ is eternally God. He was together with the Father and the Holy Spirit from the beginning, and through Him all things were made. For man's redemption, He left heaven and became incarnate by the Holy Spirit of Mary; henceforth, He is forever one Christ with two natures, God and Man, in one Person.
C. The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God, the Lord and giver of life, who was active in the Old Testament, and given to the Church in fullness at Pentecost. He empowers the saints for service and witness, cleanses man from the old nature, and conforms us to the image of Christ. The baptism with the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:5, 1 Corinthian 12:13), subsequent to conversion, releases the fullness of the Spirit and is evidenced by the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Article 2 - The Scripture
We affirm that the Bible containing the Old and New Testaments is alone the only infallible, inspired Word of God, and that its authority is ultimate, final, and eternal. It cannot be added to, subtracted from, or superseded in any regard. The Bible is the source of all doctrine, instruction, correction, and reproof. It contains all that is needed for guidance in godliness and practical Christian conduct.
Article 3 - The Atonement
Christ's death on the cross paid the penalty for the sins of the whole world, but its benefits are only applicable to those who receive Jesus as personal Savior. Healing - body, soul, and spirit - is provided for in the atonement, as well as all of God's provisions for His saints, but these must be appropriated.
Article 4 - Salvation
The Word of God declares clearly that salvation is a free gift of God, based on the merits of the death of His Son, and is appropriated by faith. Salvation is affected by personal repentance, belief in the Lord Jesus (justification-Romans 5:1), and personal acceptance of Him into one's life as Lord and Savior (regeneration). The new life in Christ includes the privileges of adoption and inheritance in the Kingdom of God's beloved Son. Salvation is an act of free will in response to God's personal love for mankind. It is predestined only in the sense that God, through His omniscience, foreknew those who would choose Him. It is secure in the eternal, unchanging commitment of God who does not lie and is forever the same. Salvation should produce an active lifestyle of loving obedience and service to Jesus Christ our Savior.
Article 5 - The Christian Life
We believe that the Scriptures portray the life of a Christian in this world to be one of balance between the grace given to us at conversion and our action as we grow in faith and maturity. Hence, God's provision for His children is total, and the promises are final and forever. The shortcomings of the individual and of the Church are because of our still-progressing state of sanctification. The Christian life is filled with trials, tests, and warfare against a spiritual enemy. For those abiding in Christ until their deaths or His return, the promises of eternal blessing in the presence of God are assured. To remain faithful through all circumstances of life requires dependence upon the Holy Spirit and a willingness to die to personal desires and passions.
Article 6 - The Church
A. The goal of the Church is to make disciples of all nations and to present the saints complete in Christ.
B. Church policy are biblically based, and are accepted by the congregation, and the congregations is independent of any other organization.
C It is essential to the life of the Church that Scriptural patterns of discipline are practiced and that oversight for Church discipline, individual and corporate, is exercised by the leadership of the Church.
Article 7 - Baptism & the Lord's Supper
The Word of God enjoins on the Church two perpetual ordinances of the Lord Jesus Christ. The first, baptism, is the outward sign of what God has already done in the believer's life, and is a testimony to all that the person now belongs to Jesus. It is identification with Jesus and is effected in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and through immersion. The Lord's Supper is a commemoration of the death of the Lord and is done in remembrance of Him until He comes again; it is a sign of our participation in Him. The bread and the wine (non-fermented) are symbols of His Flesh and His Blood respectively. Both institutions are restricted to those who are believers, and the Lord's Supper is only for those who have been baptized.
Article 8 - Eschatology
We affirm the bodily second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, the physical resurrection of the saints, the millennium, and the final judgment. The final judgment will determine the eternal status of both the saints and the unbelievers, determined by their relationship with Jesus Christ. We affirm with the Bible the final state of the new heavens and the new earth. |
